Changesbowie is a compilation album by David Bowie, released in 1990 in the United States by Rykodisc and by EMI in the UK as part of Rykodisc's Bowie remastering program, to replace the deleted RCA Records compilations Changesonebowie and Changestwobowie. While the cover artwork was generally dismissed as amateurish ("a sixth-form cut 'n' paste collage", according to author David Buckley), the collection gave Bowie his first UK chart-topping album since Tonight in 1984.

Changes originally appeared on David Bowie’s 1971 Hunky Dory album. In 1972, it was released as a single with Andy Warhol as the B-Side. You think you can get away with anything when you’re young. 2002, quoted in Nicholas Pegg, The Complete David Bowie, Changes. Written By David Bowie.

Changes" is a song by David Bowie, originally released on the album Hunky Dory in December 1971 and as a single in January 1972. Despite missing the Billboard top 40, "Changes" became one of Bowie's best-known songs. The lyrics are often seen as a manifesto for his chameleonic personality, the frequent change of the world today, and frequent reinventions of his musical style throughout the 1970s. It is one of four of Bowie's songs to be included in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll

Я все еще не знаю, чего же я ждал, And my time was running wild. А мое время дико быстро бежало. A million dead-end streets.

The album cover depicted David Bowie wearing a dress, the first step in to creating the androgynous rock star Ziggy Stardust. He wore it on the streets of New York, on one occasion having a gun pulled on him. He toured the States on the strength of the album, and it was here he would first see Iggy Pop. Ziggy would be based on the singer to some extent, along with Vince Taylor. tour he wrote Hunky Dory, an art rock album. Hunky Dory would have a softer sound than The Man Who Sold The World. The lead single Changes performed moderately well, as did the album in general.
