Les Neiges D'Antan (Snows Of Yesteryear) The Don Rendell, Ian Carr Quintet. 4. Bath Sheba The Don Rendell, Ian Carr Quintet. 5. Black Marigolds The Don Rendell, Ian Carr Quintet. Total Playing Time 41:26. One of the legendary albums from UK Jazz greats, the Don Rendell, Ian Carr Quintet, this record - along with the rest of the catalogue from this excellent quintet - has reached almost mythical status in the collector's world, as any have tried - and failed - to reissue these albums by legitimate means. Produced by Denis Preston and recorded at his London-based Lansdowne Studios, the band typically included saxophonist Don Rendell, trumpeter Ian Carr, and pianist Michael Garrick. 96 kHz, 24-bit PCM – Decca (UMO) Studio Masters. Tracks 1-5 – contains high-resolution digital transfers of material originating from an analogue master source.

  • Great! Funny bummer is, if you file it you'll see "Don Cherry Ian Carr Quintet" :) Anyway, great sounding piece.

  • The repress, bootleg, is very decent. Sleeve and sound. If major companies who own the rights would even be slightly interested in releasing these classics then there wouldn't be so much fuzz about these boots. Some bootlegs are of a better quality then licensed represses.
