James Blunt - Back To Bedlam mp3 flac download
Back to Bedlam is the debut studio album by the English singer-songwriter James Blunt, released on 11 October 2004 through Atlantic Records. It is named after the famous psychiatric institution of Bethlem Royal Hospital, which is commonly known as Bedlam. Initially lingering in the lower regions of the UK Albums Chart in its first few months of release, it became a major international success after its third single, "You're Beautiful", was a huge hit worldwide in the Summer of 2005
Packaging: Standard clear jewel case with 12 page booklet (includes song lyrics). The Sun. "Packed with solid hooks and love songs, with a twist, all delivered in the voice of a fallen angel" Sunday Times".
As a piece of propaganda, James Blunts album Back to Bedlam does more for changing the face of the British Army than a series of television adverts ever could. Swapping a rifle for a guitar, the former cavalrymans ballad-heavy debut is a clearly aiming to win the battle for the publics hearts and minds.
Blunt recounts his harrowing experiences as part of the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo on the closer, "No Bravery," and it's a shock to hear all of the romantic lyricism that informed Bedlam up to this point reduced to "Old men kneel and accept their fate/Wives and daughters cut and raped/A generation drenched in hate," but it's damn effective.
James Blunt completely sidesteps this as well. A mere check of his hit single You're Beautiful will reveal just how awful Blunt be. There is the quintessential Blunt chorus "You’re beautiful. You're beautiful, it's true". Really, is she beautiful James" I'd say this was the worst lyrical moment on the song, but there are quite a few others to draw from. Back to Bedlam is kind of a neat title. And Wisemen is a decent song (I mean, come on, psuedo-biblical references ftw). Did you see that" Three paragraphs expounding on why this album stinks, and two whole sentences on what was good.
Released October 11, 2004. This song is the second single off of James‘ album Back to Bedlam. 4. Goodbye My Lover Lyrics.
Album · 2004 · 11 Songs. With unfettered emotion and tremulous vocals, James Blunt won hearts with the mega-ballads You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover. It’s easy to connect with the Englishman, as he writes poetically about love and loss while delivering songs in a sweet falsetto that trembles with passion. He used his experience in the British army as part of a NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo to write the moving No Bravery, proving he could translate the global into the personal.
