David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 1 June 1967, on Deram Records. Its style and content bears little overt resemblance to the type of music that he was later known for, such as the folk rock influenced "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Apparently George Harrison also thought everyone knew this song, since he referenced it heavily in It’s all too much. Written By Richard Gottehrer, Jerry Goldstein & Bob Feldman. Lead Vocals David Bowie. Backing Vocals David Bowie, Mick Ronson & G. A. MacCormack. Acoustic Guitar David Bowie. Lead guitar Mick Ronson.

David Bowie is the second studio album by the English musician David Bowie, released under that title by Philips in the UK, and as Man of Words/Man of Music by Mercury in the US, on 14 November 1969. It was reissued in 1972 by RCA Records as Space Oddity (the title of the opening track, which had reached No. 5 in the UK Singles Chart). Space Oddity was the name used for CD releases of the album in 1984, 1990 and 1999, but it reverted to the original, eponymous title for 2009 and 2015 reissues.
