It's not just the surface noise. This pressing sounds ridiculously overdriven as well. I think they did everything wrong with this one. What a shame.

I'll add my two cents and say this is probably the worst sounding record in my collection. I have a GITD copy of Air's Moon Safari that sounds pretty good so it's not impossible to make GITD records sound ok. This is just awful.

Yeah I even contacted Last Gang and they sent me a replacement since my sleeve was ripped.Replacement is a bit better but not much.Sad, as I could give a damn about it glowing in the dark, I'd just rather it sound better.HEART last year had SOME surface noise, but nothing anywhere this level.

Malarad

Just listening to my copy and experienced the same surface noise issue, particularly on Side A. Wondered if it was a result of the glow in the dark pressing. It does in fact glow, which is cool, but a shame on the sound.

Yeah I don't usually notice surface noise unless it's really bad, and this one seems to be. I'd rather it sound good than glow in the dark. (Does it even glow in the dark?)

Mall

Mine as well. I am told that it is due to the fact it is a 'Glow in the Dark' release. The process of making it such causes the sound to be sacrificed sadly.
