Christopher Robin Milne (21 August 1920 – 20 April 1996) was an English bookseller and the only son of author A. A. Milne. As a child, he was the basis of the character Christopher Robin in his father's Winnie-the-Pooh stories and in two books of poems. Christopher Robin Milne was born at 11 Mallord Street, Chelsea, London, on 21 August 1920, to author Alan Alexander Milne and Daphne (née de Sélincourt) Milne. In the books he is a young boy and one of Winnie-the-Pooh's best friends.

Here, who couldn't be touched by Anne Stephens' voice: its at once endearing as a nine year-old child, and reminiscent of a "posh", yet rather delicate, English accent long gone - except perhaps in the case of the Queen and the wonderful Brian Sewell.
