Rush Through Time is a compilation album by Rush, released in Europe as a picture disc only in 1979. The compilation contained selections from the band's second, third, fourth, and fifth studio albums (Fly by Night, Caress of Steel, 2112, and A Farewell to Kings). The album was subsequently repackaged as a standard vinyl album with a colour sleeve and updated graphics on the back cover in 1982.

Rush is the debut studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on March 1, 1974 by the band's own label Moon Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States and internationally. Their first release shows much of the hard rock sound typical of many of the popular rock bands emerging earlier in the decade. Rush were fans of such bands as Led Zeppelin and Cream, and these influences can be heard in most of the songs on the album.

There are songs from those albums that could have replaced a few that are on here that could've made it an almost perfect "greatest hits" album, in my humble opinion. Not to mention the deletion of "Working Man" which is probably one of their most well known songs. Otherwise, it's a great record.

Through Time' - Rush (Compilation). This does, however have the quality of being quite a bit less common than some of the other 'best-of' collections, and unlike some of the worse compilations out there, there seems to be an effort here to give it some form of continuity and flow. This is an incredible Rush album!It has alot of there best songs on this album. When I listen to this album I say to myself this is great rock'n'roll. These guys are a pretty good canadian band but they aren't as good anymore than when they where in the 70's but that is in my eyes.
