During an online chat session on April 17, 2000, the band disclosed that the title of the album was originally going to be "Whore", but their record label TVT Records thought it was not a good idea. Two days before manufacturing the CDs, the band decided on the name 'Perversion' instead.

Possession... Does it say "That's my arm stuck"??? I like the haunting sounds that Leo may have sampled from Man Machine- Man Machine (Outer Rhythm records) or I think it's on a BBC Radio Workshop Lp.. Great track that can also be found on the lp Cannibaldi which is pretty damned good imho ;)

"Ritmicida" is definitely THE track on this record. I first heard it on a mix tape in -93 and thought, "man, someone's got a brilliant idea speeding up some mean acid track, that sounds awesome!". Only after many years I found out what this track is, and that it actually IS that fast. :) I would say that in 1992, this track must have been something different. And it still is. Ultra fast beat, original drumline and fast, hypnotic 303 line with cutoff rising and falling makes one very, very mean piece of electronic music history.

'Possession' is the typical dark-acid Anibaldi style, with a phatt break where the bassline comes in and climbs, driving the crowd mad. 'Acid perversion' is more on the Acid-house tip, much happier. '1972' is a deep dark ambient tone making you feel like you've just entered catacombs. But my favourite is certainly 'Ritmicida', a 210-bpm Acid monster taking no prisoners!
