Co-written and produced with her friends in Buffalo Daughter, the album stretches her sound: while her more usual style of minimal, poignant songwriting shows up on tracks like "Sleep Song" and "Never/More," the tracks Buffalo Daughter collaborated on reflect the group's affection for busy arrangements and sound effects. This gives Roomic Cube a somewhat unpredictable feel, but appealingly so. "Klaxon!" "Wooooog!" and ". 66666" in particular hint at Buffalo Daughter's penchant for noisy funk and rock.

Roomic Cube is the second studio album by Japanese musician Takako Minekawa, released on May 25, 1996. It was released by Polystar in Japan and by March Records in the United States. The album's second track, "Fantastic Cat", came to prominence in 2006 when it was featured in a memorable Miller Brewing Company beer advertisement with a man on his bicycle descending down a hill.

There are some over-the-top sugar-coated songs in here catalog, but I'm pretty sure that's intentional. She also balances this stuff out with some very weird and glitchy songs, and some pretty dark material as well. I consider "Roomic Cube" to be a pretty solid release, and a pretty decent introduction to Takako in general
