Canadian singer Shania Twain has released five studio albums, two compilation albums, three remix albums, one box set, two live albums, 38 singles, two promotional singles, and made six guest appearances. In 1992, Twain signed to Mercury Records Nashville in the United States and released her eponymous debut studio album, Shania Twain, the following year.

Shania Twain is the self-titled debut studio album by Shania Twain, released on April 20, 1993 by Polygram and Mercury Records. The album achieved little to moderate commercial success worldwide when first released, but following the significant success of Twain's subsequent studio albums, an increased interest in Shania Twain developed, leading it to be certified platinum in the United States for shipments of one million copies.

Now is the fifth studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Shania Twain. It was released on September 29, 2017 by Mercury Nashville. The album was produced by Twain alongside Ron Aniello, Jake Gosling, Jacquire King and Matthew Koma. Written entirely by Twain, Now is her first studio album in which she has assumed an integral role in its production, co-producing every track, and is her first album since her 1993 debut studio album to not be produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Twain's ex-husband. Her first studio release in fifteen years since Up!

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015. In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming really soon which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50. On September 27th, 2017, Twain released her first new album since 2002’s album, Up!, with the release of Now. Popular Shania Twain songs.
