From the back sleeve: "RARE LIVE is a unique video event, a Queen concert through time and space, tailored to please the collector's palate. Kickstarting with the first Queen performance ever caught on video (1973 in a London rehearsal studio), the concert captures Queen at shows spanning every stage of their career, in every corner of the globe they've played, performing songs they seldom played live

Rare Live (Un Cocert A Travers Le Temps Et L'Espace) ‎(VHS). Picture Music International. 집됨 over 9 years ago 다음 참조: Rare Live (A Concert Through Time And Space), VHS, PAL, ELM V10? As a kid, I always dreamt of seeing Queen live. That chance arrived when Freddie and the boys did come to town in 1984 (the 'town' being Sun City!), yet I was deprived of that opportunity. My parents will never be forgiven for that since I am now doomed to walk the earth forever, waiting for an event that will not happen.

It's called 'Rare Live' but they should have called it 'Live Crap'. A random compilation of live performances from various places, the place and date is often wrong (in some cases intentionally)! Incredible shit, just a cash-in

Notes

From the back sleeve: "RARE LIVE is a unique video event, a Queen concert through time and space, tailored to please the collector's palate. Kickstarting with the first Queen performance ever caught on video (1973 in a London rehearsal studio), the concert captures Queen at shows spanning every stage of their career, in every corner of the globe they've played, performing songs they seldom played live. And when the band launch into more familiar mainstays of their live repertoire, the versions are taken from never-before seen footage, in some cases their first ever performance of anthems-to-be.
RARE LIVE is both a refreshing eye-opener for Queen connoisseurs and a thrilling introduction for the uninitiated, collecting some of the most precious, outrageous and humorous highlights of their live history into one video concert."

Directed by 'The Torpedo Twins' Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher.

  • As a kid, I always dreamt of seeing Queen live. That chance arrived when Freddie and the boys did come to town in 1984 (the 'town' being Sun City!), yet I was deprived of that opportunity. My parents will never be forgiven for that since I am now doomed to walk the earth forever, waiting for an event that will not happen. In the interim, I have this tape to keep me company: As the blurb already says, it features snippets from various concerts, almost seamlessly stuck together, almost a mash-up, and almost a curse to remind me of what a fantastic live band Queen really were. My only complaint is that it only lasts for a scant hour.
