Lisa Jane Stansfield (born 11 April 1966) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. After appearances in various television shows and releasing her first singles, Stansfield, Ian Devaney and Andy Morris formed Blue Zone in 1984. The band released several singles and one album, but after the success of "People Hold On" in 1989, on which Stansfield was featured, they focused on her solo career.

In Session is a compilation album containing Lisa Stansfield's early recordings from 1981 to 1983. It was released by Sovereign Music on 20 September 1996. The album contains fourteen songs written by David Pickerill and Paul O'Donoughue, and produced by Pickerill, including Stansfield's first three singles: "Your Alibis" (retitled here as "Alibi's"), "The Only Way" and "Listen to Your Heart", and their B-sides: "The Thought Police" and "Only Love", retitled "Only Love (Can Break Your Heart)"

Complete your Lisa Stansfield collection. Lisa at her peak! This performance in 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London shows off the club diva's amazing live vocals, great back up band, catchy and danceable tunes and sexy style. Lisa was on a huge worldwide tour at this point, and had sell out dates in Europe, North America, South America, Japan and Southeast Asia. Not bad, huh? Honestly, I did find Lisa a bit subdued at times during this performance but that, I think, is just her personality. It certainly doesn't take away from the fact that to see her live is to see one of the 1990's BEST artists in action

A remix/medley of "Make Love To Ya" and "Everything Will Get Better", as well as a stunning version of "This Is The Right Time". 5 stars for sure!
