Diana & Marvin is a duets album by American soul musicians Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye, released October 26, 1973 on Motown. Recording sessions for the album took place between 1971 and 1973 at Motown Recording Studios in Hollywood, California. Gaye and Ross were widely recognized at the time as two of the top soul and pop performers, respectively. Diana & Marvin became a multi-chart success that managed to sell over a million copies worldwide.

I Love You is the twenty-third studio album by American recording artist Diana Ross. It was released in Europe in late 2006 and in the United States in 2007. It was Ross's first studio album since Every Day Is a New Day in 1999 (not counting the album Blue, as that was originally recorded in the early 1970's and would not be officially released until June of 2006).

Love Hangover Lyrics. If there's a cure for this I don't want it I don't want it. If there's a remedy I'll run from it From it. Think about it all the time Never let it out of my mind 'Cause I love you. I've got the sweetest hangover I don't wanna get over The sweetest hangover. Yeah, I don't wanna get over I don't wanna get I don't wanna get over. Ooh, I don't need no cure I don't need no cure I don't need no cure  . In 1975, Hal recorded the instrumental track to the song, thinking that the song would be good for either Marvin Gaye or Diana Ross to record it and in the end, he decided to record the song with Diana because he though that her voice would sound sexier on it. Love Hangover became a hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in 1976.

Ross recorded "Love Hangover" in 1975. It was released in March 1976, and rose to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Soul Singles and Hot Dance Club Play charts simultaneously. The song was written by Pamela Sawyer and Marilyn McLeod as a disco number. He thought Diana would be sexier on it, so he recorded the song with her. Background vocals on the track were provided by Motown's in-house trio, The Andantes. I Want You. I Love You (That's All That Matters).

I was only aware of the original US 1976 Promo pressing on PR-16. This bootleg looks almost identical to the original except that the font is ever so slightly different on the 33 1/3 RPM text.

  • Don't look at the label, look at the blank!!! Motown promos up through PR 26 were pressed on a basic flat blank that had one distinct sharp circle marking a slight recession to the portion of the blank inside of the circle up to the centre hole. While the bootleg pictured above has this sharp circle cutting through the artist's name (on the original, this circle crosses much nearer the perimeter of the label, cutting through the word 'Motown'), it ALSO has the mild raise toward the perimeter of the label common with Motown blanks (and those of other major labels) beginning with PR-27. The original does not have this raise. Hope this info will help those to avoid the needless heartbreak of losing unrecoverable money buying this record either advertised as an original or by evasive descriptions which avoid the truth.

  • And, when compared visually and audibly to the original side-by-side, you can clearly see that the vinyl quality of the counterfeit pressing is not the same and clearly hear that the fidelity is not as good.
