Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture is a live album by David Bowie, corresponding to the film of the same name. The music was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 3 July 1973, although the album was not issued by RCA Records until 1983. Prior to that it had existed in bootleg form, notably His Masters Voice – Bowie and the Spiders From Mars' Last Stand.

Tilmann Otto, better known by his stage name Gentleman, is a German reggae musician. Gentleman lives in the Neubrück area of Cologne. He is the son of a Lutheran pastor and the father of two children, named Samuel and Tamica. He is married to Tamika, a background singer of the Far East Band, which has been supporting him since his first concert tour of Germany in 2002.

This album is practically a religion among my friends and I. There is literally nothing bad about it, sure the songs don't stand well on their own except for comfortably numb and to an extent another brick in the wall part 2 but that's not the point of a concept album. Although the story may be better in The Wall, Ziggy Stardust and David Bowie in general just give me shivers and goosebumps whenever I hear it. RIP BOWIE. The best Pink Floyd album. The creation of the Ziggy Stardust persona would live on well after Bowie shed the alien skin, marking the first rock concept album by a sexually ambiguous, artistically bent musician who confounded critics at every turn. A blend of dramatic strings, swaggering saxophones, jagged guitars, and theatrical arrangements, the album's darker rock numbers like "It Ain't Easy," "Moonage Daydream," "Ziggy Stardust," and the irresistible "Suffragette City," still serve as solid excursions into the future (then and now) of rock.

The album found a small audience, but flew up the charts later that year after the huge success of the follow-up, Ziggy Stardust. The songs on Ziggy Stardust represent the high point of the entire glam movement. Also, Bowie was reborn onstage as Ziggy Stardust, providing a much-needed rock star in an otherwise bleak music landscape. Even better, parents hated him. Bowie has had bigger hits and more acclaimed albums, but never in his career did he seem quite as important or refreshing. This is the Bowie album that will be in the history books.
